Windows TP-Link Archer VR 2100 - Install - Set Up

Hi there folks
Wanting to get step by step instructions on how to set up / install OECK on my new TP-Link Archer VR 2100 modem router.
Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi mickyo34,

As far as I can tell from reading the manual, your router only has a VPN server, not a client.
Looks like it's not possible to do what you need.

Bugger... Thanks Cameron. Could I install this on a NAS, that is running plex and get it going through that?
I just want my TCL tvs to get Netflix etc. In the US, UK etc.
Don't know how to install Oeck on the TVs. Pulling my hair out.

Hi Michael,

I think some NASs can do what you want, but I the easiest config for you would be a router with an OpenVPN client built in.

We just got an Asus RT-AC66U to do some step-by-step guides, for $150 that was really simple to set up on Oeck.
Maybe you can return your new TP-Link and get a different one?

If you need more than about 20-30Mbit, the CPU in the router becomes a thing. @iddqd knows all about that.
